Here are some important points for you, parents and your team to go over, we hope to see you all at our tournament!

Tournament Info

  • Hockey Canada rules will apply.
  • Five games guaranteed. Three period games (20 minute stop time periods).
  • Overtime: ten minute stop time, sudden victory period(s). No games will end in a tie.
  • All players must hold player insurance.
  • All players must be registered with BC Hockey in the Pee-Wee division or applicable body. Teams must provide a copy of their official team roster
  • All players must have played in the Pee-Wee division all season.
  • All teams are required to bring sets of both light and dark uniforms.
  • All teams must carry their own equipment.
  • No billeting will be available. The Tournament Committee, upon your acceptance in the tournament, will notify the hotel room co-ordinator of your teams acceptance and the team manager will deal with her for the room assignments. All tournament activities such as player registration, banquet, adult nights, etc. will take place at the Best Western Premier. The Tournament Committee has reserved the entire hotel for this tournament.
  • Parents WILL be asked to purchase a tournament pass to view the games.
  • Deadline for acceptance of applications is mid October.
  • All applications MUST include permission to travel to the Coca Cola Classic from your association and your governing body as well as permission to participate from your association and your governing body.
  • All applications are to be submitted via email. Upon acceptance by the committee you agree to supply by January 1st, of the tournament year, the following:
    • A digital team picture
    • A single player front / back picture depicting the team logo (dark uniform please)
    • Player names and numbers (Captain and Assistant Captains), Coaches, Trainers, etc that correspond to the team photo.

Kal Tire Place North

3445 43rd Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 8P5

The Kal Tire Place – North facility has a regulation-size 200’ x 85’ sheet of ice, seating for 400 spectators.

In addition, the facility features two lease spaces for dryland training facilities, multi-purpose room, and additional office space. Two businesses occupy the lease spaces in Kal Tire Place North, Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy and the Training House.

The facility is also home to the Greater Vernon Minor Hockey Association office.
